Hannah & Reid - Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding

Hannah and Reid’s wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch was nothing short of magical. We met them for the first time the morning of their wedding, and as the day went on, we caught snippets here and there that shed light on who they are as people, and how their relationship came to be. Their romance is so classic it could be made into a movie — Hannah, a smart, beautiful woman who was studying to become a doctor, falls in love with Reid, a handsome, football jock. They meet one fateful day when Hannah was working as a waitress, and Reid came in for a bite of food, and their relationship went from there. But more than this sweet beginning, their story is inspirational in how real it feels — full of trials, challenges, successes and dreams. These two positively glowed with joy the entire day, and it really highlighted how weddings aren’t just a day in the life — they are a culmination of everything that couples have already been through, and the beginning of a new and exciting chapter.

Today we are so pleased to be sharing Elise and Chase’s wedding highlight film at Deer Creek Valley Ranch in Bailey, Colorado. This day left us feeling that kind of inner warmth and peace you feel when you go home — a feeling reminiscent of family reunions, home cooked meals, or Grandma’s cookies. It wasn’t the type of wedding where everything was decadent and polished, but rather had a beautiful, rustic and intimate simplicity to it. It was so sweet to witness this special day from those early morning butterflies, to joyous dancing in the warm barn light. We are so happy for you — Chase, Elise and your adorable kids. It can be hard to put into words exactly what makes a wedding day so special and magical. Was it the stunningly elegant wedding dress that Lamar wore with such grace? Was it the entourage of teary bridesmaids and grinning groomsmen? Was it the twinkling fairy light floral arches? Was it the warmth and love that beamed from gathered loved ones as they shared their first kiss? Or was it the way that Brooks and Lamar only had eyes for each other from the moment she walked down the aisle? We strongly believe that there is no “one” recipe for a wedding “done right,” but sometime the right ingredients really come together in a profoundly meaningful way.
